Dear all, it's February already - where does the time go?

It has been a dreadful January in terms of poor weather and disruption to a wide range of our services.

I must say a huge thank you to all of our staff and maintenance contractors who have been super throughout this difficult period, and thank you to all of our customers for your patience and good will.

We continue to work hard across Flagship at improving performance. Our Boards of Management are currently grappling with the complexity of 2010/11 budgets and business priorities. The housing market and economy are still slow to recover and we have the prospect of reduced public funding on the horizon.

We are already seeing signs of cutbacks in Supporting People funding in parts of our operation. We are of course getting closer to the general election, and along with other housing groups we are lobbying MPs and Parliamentary candidates about housing policies after the election - it's sure to be an interesting time.

In April we have new Regulatory Standards being introduced by the Tenant Services Authority (TSA) . We will keep you posted about the impact of this in the coming weeks through our website and other communication channels.
