Often, the people we work with have reached crisis point, when professional and timely help can change, or even save lives. Our supported housing is designed to help the vulnerable and most excluded people in society. Many of our residents have faced homelessness, have drink and drug problems, have suffered domestic violence or have a range of other issues such as learning disabilities that they need support with. By meeting their immediate needs through providing a safe and supportive environment, we hope to give them a second chance and an opportunity to take some control of their lives.
We work closely with local authorities and other professionals to help develop specialist facilities for groups as diverse as ex-service personnel, young people with special needs, those with mental health and/or drug and alcohol misuse problems, ex-offenders, homeless people needing to learn practical life skills, single teenage parents and those fleeing from domestic violence.
